It's About Time
Being a member of the About Time community means you’ll often be the first to know our news, you’ll be invited to exclusive events and experiences, and you’ll earn points and rewards for the time you spend with us.

We’re a village pub in Stoke-by-Nayland, rooted in our surroundings and shaped by the people who come through our doors. Our cooking centres on familiar pub classics and a daily fish board, using local produce where it counts. With a thoughtful wine list, a garden terrace, rooms in The Folly and three lodges, we’re a place to eat well, stay comfortably and feel at home – we’re always worth the drive.
Our menus follow the seasons, with fresh catches, pub classics and produce from nearby growers and makers. From Sunday roasts to simple plates, it’s food shaped by the region and served without fuss.

Set just behind the pub, our rooms and lodges offer space, comfort and views over Constable Country. Expect simple, well-considered design and useful touches throughout. Some include private terraces and scenic views, giving you a base for exploring the area.

There’s always something happening at The Crown, from wine suppers and special menus, to craft workshops and quiz nights.
